Dates Announced

The 2016 dates for Hams in the Park have been announced. They are:

April 9th

May 14th

June 11th

July 9th

August 13th

September 10th

October 8th

Come on over and set up your radio gear, HF, QRP, VHF, UHF, satellite, or whatever and enjoy the company of like-minded friends. Show off your equipment, see what others have, compare notes, learn and have fun! This is not a contest just a place for hams and those interested in Amateur Radio to get together and share the hobby.

Directions - For Long Lake Park

1. ★ 35W from the South:
   

Exit at West County Road E2 (26). Head West then turn right on 5th Ave NW. Continue onto Old Hwy 8.

1. ★ 35W from the North
   

Take 694 West

1. ★ From 694
   

Exit on Long Lake Road (40). Turn South and follow 10th St NW to Old Hwy 8. Travel North on Old Hwy 8 to the park entrance.

1. ★ At the park entrance, travel past the railroad tracks then turn right. We’ll be in or around the parking lot.
   

There are bathrooms but no power hook ups. There are many trees and open areas or for antenna placement, along with open areas available to set up a table. Check http://www.hamoperator.com/park for the latest information.
